Two Easy Steps for Making Childbirth Easier!
Making Childbirth Easier- We All Want It! I know this is what we want! This is why we have so many books, classes, CD's DVD's, systems, websites, teachers, and (the most obvious give away of all) tons of students! We are all searching for the best, easiest, most convenient, and most effective, ways for making childbirth easier. And this is good. Because as we seek, so shall we find. As we share, so shall the collection of our experiences and knowledge pave the way for those who follow us to experience easier and better births. The
history of childbirth
has shown us that the more we help each other out, and support each other, and pass on our knowledge and skills, the better childbirth ends up being for everyone- baby, mother, father, and family. We have many ways of making childbirth easier... There are classes to teach us about the process of birth, how everything works, what to expect, and how we should prepare. There are books to answer our many questions. There are methods for breathing, relaxing, and dealing with different discomforts we may experience. But what I have found is that even though most of these things are great, meaning they can be very effective at making childbirth easier, they only tend to "work" if you have a few very basic, but very key fundamentals in place first. Step One The first thing you need to understand is "How are you currently programmed?" Fail to understand this, and even your best efforts may be thwarted. You will be left wondering why all of your hard work and preparation seemed to work for everyone else but you? Is something wrong with you? Of course not! You did not understand... Making childbirth easier is all about understanding your current programming and how it affects your preparation. Never was this more apparent to me than after the birth of my second child. I was left wondering, "What happened?"
My first birth had been exactly what I prepared for: under control, confident, and natural. Total success! What happened that made my second birth so unnecessarily more difficult? That time I was not in control. I was in more pain. I felt like labor was happening to me instead of just going through it like I had the first time. It was a smack in the face when I realized it was my own fault for not paying attention to Proper Preparation like I had the first time. I had actually Programmed myself to experience a more difficult labor! I corrected both of these in time to enjoy the best birth experience ever on my third time around! Step Two Correct preparation makes the difference between a good childbirth experience and a not so good one. I took great pains to prepare as much as I could for my first birth. I avoided it for my second. Mistake! It makes all the difference! I found the right way to prepare for my third birth, based on my previous programming and desires for childbirth, and happily found success! Two Simple Steps: Proper Programming and Preparation are the keys to making childbirth easier. To start, we need to understand what kind of programming you've already got in place. This is an essential step for childbirth preparation. It is the most important preparation you can do because it determines the effectiveness of all the rest of your preparation. I know this by both positive, and negative experience. But before we leap into Programming and Preparation there is one more thing I want you to know: (and it is on the next page...)
