Vaginal or Surgical Delivery?
In times past the only choice available was vaginal childbirth. By far, the majority of all births today are still vaginal deliveries. A c-section was reserved only for an emergency. But today there are a few women who elect, or choose, to give birth by cesarean. In America, the number of c-sections has risen to include almost 25 percent of all births. Don't be afraid. Your body is designed to give birth. With the childbirth options available today, surgery is not necessary. A healthy, normal and safe birth can be achieved by most women through a vaginal delivery.

Getting Labor Started...
When the time comes for labor to begin, will you let labor start naturally or will you consider an induction. Childbirth induction is used to either start your labor or to speed up a sluggish labor. It should only be used if it is necessary because there are certain risks.

Which Pain Relief Options Will You Chose?
How are you going to handle pain during childbirth? It is not a side effect. You can control it. Most women do not understand the incredible influence they have on how much pain they will feel during labor. Either way you must have a way to cope with it. There are many childbirth options that can help you relieve your pain during childbirth.

First, are you going for a natural childbirth or whatever takes the pain away? There are many natural methods of childbirth that help you deal with pain naturally and effectively.
